To become an officer, applicants must have the following minimum qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a U.S. citizen or be able to provide documentation permitting residency and authorization to work.
- Able to meet Washington State Department of Licensing standards.
- Able to provide courteous and considerate customer service.
- Able to de-escalate and provide situational resolution.
- Exhibit integrity, ethical judgement, and professional composure.
- Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to read, write, and comprehend directives and instructions in English as issued by the company and client management.
- Able to complete forms and reports as required in performance of duty.
- Be physically and mentally able to perform the functions of a security officer, including, standing or walking for entire shift, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Pre-Assignment Training
New officers receive an eight-hour orientation that exceeds Washington Department of Licensing requirements. Our training includes:
- Mandatory drug screening for drivers
- De-escalation and conflict resolution
- Report writing
- Officer safety and preparedness
- Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)
- Customer service and professional standards
- Diversity awareness
- Access control

Post-Assignment Training
Security officers must complete annual post-assignment training to renew their guard license. In the first year, they complete eight hours of training, followed by four hours annually thereafter.
F-Dub Services ensures all personnel are equipped with the knowledge and tools to succeed at each post. Supervisors monitor performance in real-time, addressing issues before they affect the client. Operations Managers create site management plans to meet client requirements and provide ongoing feedback to promote officer success and retention.
